What are Pinball Cabinet Assembly Protectors?

What are Pinball Cabinet Assembly Protectors?

Pinball machines have become increasingly expensive which means protecting your investment is even more important! Whether you're a high end game buyer or a first time owner, you know that maintaining your pinball machine is crucial for its longevity and performance. One aspect of pinball machine care that often goes overlooked is the protection of the cabinet, particularly the inside of the cabinet. This is where pinball cabinet assembly protectors come into play.

What are Pinball Cabinet Assembly Protectors?

Pinball cabinet assembly protectors are specially designed guards that shield the inside cabinet of a pinball machine from damage. They are made from high-quality flexible plastic, which provides excellent protection while raising and lowering the playfield. These protectors are cut to fit the specific dimensions of the pinball cabinet, ensuring a perfect fit.

Gouging the inside of your pinball machine cabinet is surprisingly easy and unfortunately is hard to repair. This makes protection even more critical as damage to high-cost inside art blades is not desired!

How Do Pinball Cabinet Assembly Protectors Protect the Side Art?

Pinball cabinet assembly protectors serve as a barrier between the side art and potential sources of damage. Machines that have inside art blades sometimes referred to as game blades are especially vulnerable as they create tighter tolerances between the playfield and the cabinet. They shield the artwork from scratches, scuffs, and other forms of wear and tear that can occur when the playfield is lifted for cleaning, repair or installation of parts.  Check out our YouTube video on how to use these in your game.

How Do You Use Pinball Cabinet Assembly Protectors?

Using pinball cabinet assembly protectors is a straightforward process. Simply follow the instructions to fold the protectors prior to use and install magnets. Protectors include six magnets that help hold them in place when in use. Place the protectors on either side of the inside of the cabinet whenever raising or lowering the playfield.

By using pinball cabinet assembly protectors, you can preserve the visual appeal and value of your pinball machine. They are a cost-effective solution that offers long-lasting protection, ensuring that your machine remains in pristine condition for years to come!
